HONEST RECOMMENDATIONS

Honest Advice Comes First

Not every pair should be repaired. Before recommending work, we consider the shoe’s construction, materials, condition, and the result the repair is likely to deliver.

If the work is unlikely to hold, we will tell you. If repairing a lower-priced pair may cost more than replacing it, we will explain that too—then you can decide based on its quality, fit, comfort, availability, or personal value.

COMMON SHOE & BOOT REPAIRS

Repairs We Handle Every Day

From everyday wear to more involved structural work, we assess each pair and recommend the repair most likely to provide a dependable result.

Heels & Heel Tips

Replacement of worn heel tips, rubber heels, and damaged heel components when the shoe’s construction allows.

Soles & Half Soles

Replacement of worn leather or rubber soles, including full and half soles, when appropriate for the shoe’s construction.

Sole Protection

Protective sole guards and non-slip materials that help reduce wear and extend the life of suitable shoes.

Boot Zippers & Closures

Repair or replacement of boot zippers, sliders, elastic panels, and related closures when the surrounding material is strong enough.

Heels & Heel Tips

Replacement of worn heel tips, rubber heels, and damaged heel components when the shoe’s construction allows.

Stitching & Reattachment

Restitching loose seams, securing separated uppers, and repairing straps or other localized areas that have come apart.

MAKING AN INFORMED CHOICE

Is It Worth Repairing?

Repair is not always the least expensive option. With lower-priced, mass-produced footwear, professional repair may cost as much as—or more than—buying a replacement.

That is because the work is based on the time, materials, and skill required—not the shoe’s original price. We explain the likely result and cost first, so you can decide whether its quality, fit, comfort, availability, or personal value makes it worth repairing.

Repair May Make Sense When…

✓ The shoe is well constructed or made from quality materials.

✓ The fit and comfort would be difficult to replace.

✓ The style, model, or size is no longer readily available.

✓ The repair can meaningfully extend its useful life.

✓ The item has personal or sentimental value.

HANDBAG & PURSE REPAIR

When the Outside Is Worth Saving

Handbags can require many of the same specialized repair skills as footwear—from zippers, stitching and straps to extensive interior reconstruction. When the exterior of a well-made or valued handbag is still in good condition, replacing a badly deteriorated lining can give the item many more years of useful life.

Inside a Complete Handbag Lining Replacement

This limited-edition Louis Vuitton handbag arrived with an interior lining that could no longer be salvaged, while the exterior required only minor cleaning. Rather than replace an otherwise valuable handbag, we carefully reconstructed its interior, preserving usable original details and recreating the lining, pockets and zippered compartment.

How the Interior Was Rebuilt

Original handbag lining removed for use as a pattern

Remove the Original Lining

The existing lining is carefully removed while keeping its construction intact. It becomes an important reference for recreating the shape and fit of the replacement lining.

Original handbag components preserved during lining replacement

Preserve Original Details

Usable original details are carefully separated and preserved whenever possible, including zipper components, leather trim and the original label, so they can be incorporated into the reconstructed interior.

Original handbag lining used to create a pattern for the replacement interior

Recreate the Pattern

The original construction is used as a guide to recreate the shape of the lining and the placement of its interior compartments.

Zippered interior pocket reconstructed during handbag lining replacement

Rebuild the Zippered Pocket

The interior zippered compartment is reconstructed, incorporating usable original components and details wherever appropriate.

Interior handbag pockets recreated as part of the new lining

Recreate Interior Pockets

The interior pockets are rebuilt in their original arrangement and carefully incorporated into the new lining.

Completed replacement lining fitted and secured inside the handbag

Reassemble the Handbag

The completed lining is fitted back into the outer shell and carefully secured, restoring the handbag’s interior structure and function.

Every handbag is different. We assess the construction, condition and available original components before recommending what can realistically be repaired or rebuilt.

CRAFTSMANSHIP ON SITE

Skilled Work, Done Here

Shoe repairs are assessed and performed in our Boynton Beach workshop. Each job begins with understanding how the shoe was constructed and selecting the preparation, materials, and repair method appropriate for that pair.

Dependable results often come from the work customers do not see—careful preparation, secure bonding or stitching, proper finishing, and knowing when the surrounding material is strong enough to support the repair.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Most Shoe Repairs Take About One Week

The exact completion date depends on the repair required, the materials involved, and the shop’s current workload. We will give you a more specific timeframe after examining your shoes.

Walk-Ins Welcome

No appointment is needed for standard shoe-repair drop-offs. Bring the pair in so we can examine it properly.

Typical Timing

Most shoe repairs are completed in about one week, although complex work or special materials may take longer.

Have a Deadline?

Tell us when you drop off your shoes. We will confirm whether your requested date is realistic after assessing the work.

CLEAR PRICING BEFORE WORK BEGINS

Pricing Begins With an Assessment

Every pair is different. Before quoting the work, we examine the shoe’s construction, condition, damaged area, and the result the repair is likely to provide.

The price reflects the time, skilled labor, materials, preparation, and finishing required—not what the item originally cost. We explain the recommended work and confirm the price before anything begins.

What Can Affect the Price?

✓ The type and extent of the repair.

✓ The shoe’s construction and access to the damaged area.

✓ The condition and strength of the surrounding materials.

✓ The materials or replacement components required.

✓ The preparation, finishing, and labor involved.
