FORMAL DRESS ALTERATIONS

A first-time alterations customer praised the work required to let out a dress nearly three inches and achieve the proper fit.
This was my first time ever getting a dress altered, and I was scared they would not be able to do it, but was very pleasantly surprised!
My dress needed to be let out almost 3 inches to get it to zip, and these ladies worked miracles!!!
At first I was pretty shocked by the high price tag (I could have bought a whole new dress for that price) but since I was on a short time frame I went ahead and did it. These ladies took their time and made sure that the dress fit perfectly.

DESIGNER DRESS REPAIR

A customer praised the successful repair of a designer dress that several others had considered irreparable.
Hem Over Heels is fantastic.
I have a designer dress that arrived damaged, and I was determined to fix it so it was wearable. Four tailors, including two from the designer itself, examined the dress and said the damage was irreparable.
Hem Over Heels was able to remove the snap buttons and add a hidden tab with normal buttons, so the dress looks fantastic and won’t be a pain in the ass every time I put it on or take it off.
Lia is a legitimate magician- I can’t believe she was able to fix it, she was utterly patient with me when I wanted some small changes made, and it looks great.
I’m so happy with the service from Hem Over Heels. I’ll go back to them for everything in the future.

BRIDESMAID ALTERATIONS

Came here to get a bridesmaid dress altered and it came out exactly how I wanted. The dress was ready in a week and I paid upfront so picking it up was quick. I don't know much about the cost this kind of alteration would be, but it was a little labor intensive so I wasn't overly surprised by the price. But if you check in on yelp on your first visit, you get 15% off which helped me out. And the owner also told me they offer special deals on their website as well. Would recommend this place!

RUSH DRESS REPAIR

I'm a little late on leaving a review based on my experience but this place deserves more than just a review.
For New Years Eve I ran into some problems came in to ask if they can help with the problem they took their time to tell me what they can do and how fast (mind you this was NYE) and in less than two hours the dress was ready and it looked brand new!
I was very pleased with the result, thank you for your service.

DRESS ALTERATIONS

I am so glad I discovered this place on Yelp.
I got fitted/measured by Brenda. She has a great personality & clearly knows what she’s doing. I got 3 dresses altered here. One was a crepe material Lilly Pulitzer shift dress that needed quite a bit of altering & the hem done.
Another was a studded leather dress that also required quite a bit of altering & the 3rd dress was a maxi dress with very thin fabric that just needed the hem taken up. I picked them up today & needless to say, I am beyond pleased.
I will be having all my future alterations done here. Prices are reasonable & comparable to other tailors I’ve gone to in the area but I was very pleased with Brenda, her personality & of course her work.

This place is AMAZING! GREAT PRICES & GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I wish there was a place like this back home. I'm a college student and i needed to have a dress taken in. It was last minute but they got it done in like 2 days! I've done the same for my prom dress and i paid almost double somewhere else.
This is definitely the place to go! It's not close to my dorm but i will gladly make the trip anytime. I recommend them 100%

This place is amazing!
I had a disaster of a bridesmaid dress that was ordered in the wrong size and then messed up by a different tailor. I took the dress to Hem Over Heels, in tears, hoping they could help me. They did so much more than help me….they made the dress look flawless on me! They are so extremely friendly and helpful.
Recently, I also brought in a very special hat that got damaged. This hat belonged to a child who was extremely upset that it got damaged. Josh was able to repair the hat and made it look perfect again. The child was SO happy to see his hat was fixed.
Thank you so much for your kindness! I have only good things to say about Hem over Heels and their kindness, professionalism and craftsmanship.

SHOE REPAIR

They were very nice, quick, and reasonable (even offered a discount for first time client). Repaired a pair of 45 year old white bucks (from grad school). Like new and still with the old dirt!
My wife wants to go there and try them on repairing some very very expensive shoes, which few even want to attempt because of the high original price.

LUGGAGE REPAIR & SHARPENING

Excellent service and great quality here.
I brought my luggage in to be fixed and they did a great job.
I returned with a wooden block of Wolfgang Puck knives and they sharpened all of them for me and showed me how to care for them in the future.
I cannot say enough about the kind, professional, friendly service that you will receive here.
