A bride’s dress was corrected within two weeks of her wedding after previous alterations left problems with the sleeves, hem, and bustle.
I cannot thank Cida enough!!
My daughter and I brought in her wedding dress within two weeks of her wedding. We originally had her dress altered at another location (that came highly recommended by the bridal salon) which completely did a botched job. My daughter wanted full sleeves made using the original sleeves on the dress along with an extra set of sleeves we bought from the designer. After two months with another seamstress, we were left with such a hack job on the sleeves, along with a disastrous job on the hem and bustle.
We came into Hem Over Heels hoping for a miracle, and boy did we get it. Cida is not only incredibly talented, but she was so caring. She worked quickly and expertly to fix what need fixing and created the most beautiful sleeves. My daughter got the dress she was hoping for. Thank you to Cida! You are amazing!

Sylvia with Designer Handbag Revival was fantastic at refurbishing my Yves Saint Laurent purse. The dye was fading and rubbed in certain areas she restored it back to its beautiful glory.

Cida did a fantastic job for me.
First of all I loved that she brainstormed with me. We talked together about the best way to approach fitting this long dress/Halloween costume and making it perfect. She was so open to my ideas and built upon them.
I was in a rush and she came through and did a fantastic job. The dress fit perfectly. As a matter of fact it was Belle's gown from Beauty and the Beast beauty and my husband and I won best costume!!

HANDBAG RESTORATION

Silvia did such an amazing and beautiful job on refinishing my Louis Vuitton. The bag was discolored from use, and the glue had become sticky on all of the edging and handles. Silvia brought my bag back to life, and it truly looks good as new!
I would highly recommend Silvia and the beautiful work that she does! I have attached images of some before and afters so you can see her amazing rework for yourselves!

Came in to ask for a hem and was asked to try on the dress. Glad I did! As the dress had an underneath slip. So that the hem was made correctly and looks great! Awhile ago I made an impromptu stop to ask about a problem I was having with my purse and the gentleman pulled out his pliers and fixed it immediately and did not charge me-talk about customer service!!!!!!!!! Always treated with a flair for the international! Thank you!

SHOE REPAIR

A customer returned after a shoe-repair concern and described how the owner stood behind the work with a second repair at no additional charge.
The owner fixed my work shoes and backs up his work. 2 weeks after the repair something else happened to the shoes that appeared to me to indicate maybe the repair didn’t last very long or maybe wasn’t done properly so I went back to the store and discussed it.
It wasn’t the exact problem that he originally worked on but was similar and I expected he wouldn’t fix it a second time without charging me.
He told me he backs up his work so he said he would repair the shoe again with no additional charge. I even offered him $10 the second time because I felt a little guilty. He refused the money and insisted he backs up his work. It’s been 6 weeks since the second repair and the shoes are holding up well. He explained both repairs to me before he did them and told me what I could expect.
