First, my shoes were dropped off by my girlfriend with written instructions that she also verbally instructed them to follow for the repairs so the customer name will not be under my name but will be under my girlfriend’s name.

I had 8 pairs of shoes to repaired (sole reglued to shoe & sole replacement (without heel).

The ones that only needed the sole reglued (sole separated from shoe) were fine but they try to upscale you for new sole and heels which what they did to my girlfriend when she took my shoes there.

The other shoes that needed the sole replaced, yes they upsold here for something that wasn’t needed, replaced perfectly fine heels, and changed the style of the sole without taking note of the original sole.

2 pairs of very nice Italian made leather shoes are completely different because they ignored the instructions and upsold my girlfriend on me needing new heels when I did not.

They got me for a pretty penny because I wasn’t there to at least make it clear I didn’t need the upsale to the heels of a lower quality than what originally came on my shoes.

Would I recommend the shop yes but…

1. Take one pair at a time and leave detailed and explicit instructions of what you want done and as them not to deviate from hose instructions without your approval.

2. Inspect the shoe after you received them while at the shop and compare them to original photos and the repair instructions.

3. Always drop off & pick up yourself to ensure the instructions are received correctly by the store and followed.

4. Do not let them upscale you on their cheep heels when your heels could be perfectly fine.

5. If you’re like me, make sure the style of the shoe wasn’t changed after their repairs. I purchased the shoes for the entire styling of the sole, heel and shoe so I expected to get the sole cut to the same shape as the original sole and heal that came woth the shoe.

The only way I would get more shoes repaired here is if knew those 5 things I listed previously.

If they came back differently than my instructions after I ensure the 5 items listed previously were discussed, then I would NOT recommend this place.

Give them a try yourself. Hopefully you will be happier with your experience than I was with my experience with them. I will not get anymore of my shoes repaired here only because I’m very particular of my things and I was not pleased at all. Now I need to wear all the shoes to check the workmanship of the repairs. I will update my review in the future.
